From time to time (usually due to the lack of Office Service Packs) a user's Outlook will not connect to a Hosted Exchange Solution. The work-around would be to setup an IMAP (or POP) account.

1. Log onto the OWA website as the user
2. Click on the Settings Gear next to the User's name
3. Select Options and then Pop & Imap
4. The server settings will look something like:

POP:

Server name: outlook.office365.com
Port: 995
Encryption method: SSL

IMAP:

Server name: outlook.office365.com
Port: 993
Encryption method: SSL

SMTP:

Server name: smtp.office365.com
Port: 587
Encryption method: TLS

5. The SMTP server requires authentication (with the same username and password as the incoming server)
